A program accompanies lunch, with a different theme each month. For example, one month may focus on Korean War veterans or Vietnam. In some instances, the theme of a luncheon may focus on a significant event or date in military history, such as the end of WWII or a specific battle or engagement.
Roll Call Fort Worth , Stories of our attendees’ heroism, courage and sacrifices are highlighted. We may interview several veterans’ whose military service included participation in a battle or campaign; we may have special guests such as a senator or member of congress; we may provide singing entertainment. However, we always have a prayer, say the Pledge of Allegiance, sing the National Anthem, and make announcements. We often make our attendees aware of special events in the community that support, honor, or highlight veterans.
Roll Call Fort Worth , The luncheon is truly an amazing experience and to have so many veterans of all ages in one room together! It is something that cannot be adequately described with words, but only experienced.
